Operation Roundup is a unique voluntary program designed to provide financial assistance to worthwhile projects and charities in our communities. The Operation Roundup program works like this: The Cooperative will "round up" the electric bills of participating members to the next dollar. For example, if your bill is $123.75, it would be rounded up to $124. A 25¢ donation doesn't seem like much, but spread across 13,000 consumers, it adds up quickly. The Board of Directors, and Management decide which types of projects to fund. The major funding projects deal with Community Service, Economic Development, Education & Youth, Emergency Services, and Disaster Relief programs.
